Da-Lite/Legrand AV Better Communities recently donated solar cars to promote sustainability education at Jefferson Elementary School. With this donation, students were able to engage in the engineering process with their families. They built small, wooden cars with a working solar panel and motor. Students tested the cars and enjoyed an evening of creating lasting memories with their families.
One student said, “This is so much fun!”
A Jefferson parent noted that she appreciated the opportunity to engage in STEM moments at the school with family.
