On Monday, March 28th, Warsaw Community Schools paid a special salute to United States Army Veteran Captain Bob Gast who celebrated his 100th birthday.
Bob Gast graduated from Warsaw High School in 1940 and returned to Warsaw after military service to raise his family with his beloved wife, Marg.
Dr. David Hoffert created Bob Gast Day in Warsaw Community Schools to recognize and honor this remarkable and humble man.
Elementary students across the district made birthday cards and the Warsaw Community High School JROTC read the proclamation for “Bob Gast Day."
