"WCS has made a commitment to ongoing professional development for teachers through the expertise of instructional coaches. These high-impact coaches provide building-based training for teachers to improve teaching strategies and increase student engagement. We are blessed as a district to have this internal resource for our teachers to be able to hone their skills. In addition to assisting teachers, elementary and secondary instructional coaches work with district administration to provide ongoing professional learning for building-level administrators. They are an invaluable resource!" ~ Dani Barkey and David Robertson
Next - we celebrate our Maintenance Department, Grounds Department, and Custodians with a video tribute from April Fitterling, Chief Financial Officer.
Thank you ALL for ALL you do! For ALL the GREAT work you do at WCHS/WACC, Gateway, 2 Middle Schools, 8 Elementary Schools, and Central Office. We hope your WCS family will join us to THANK YOU for your service. We COULD NOT do this without you!

And to wrap it up, we want to recognize and show our appreciation for our Athletic Department: administrators, coaches, and their office and support teams.
We are fortunate to have state-of-the-art athletic facilities, outstanding leadership, phenomenal coaches, and incredible support staff. Our thanks extend to families and community partners who make WCS Athletic offerings exceptional. The Athletic Department moves the mission forward and supports our Strategic Plan Pillars: Empathy; Adaptability; Inclusivity; Experience.
