During the week of February 22nd, students at Jefferson Elementary "jumped all over heart disease and stroke" by participating in the annual Kid’s Heart Challenge. During Physical Education classes with Mrs. Monce, each student jumped rope to promote good physical exercise.
In the end, the students raised more than $4,400.00 for the American Heart Association, which funds research, programs, and education to fight heart disease and stroke.
