Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire and equip all students to continuously acquire and apply knowledge and skills while pursuing their dreams and enriching the lives of others.

Dual Language Immersion

Leesburg launched its Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program in August 2018, giving Kindergarten students the opportunity to learn in both English and Spanish. Students spend half the day with a Spanish-speaking teacher, developing Spanish literacy through core content, and the other half with an English-speaking teacher. In 2024, the program was recognized as an International Spanish Academy.

Clubs & After School

Leesburg Elementary offers students a wide range of after-school opportunities. From fine arts to athletics, these experiences are designed to enrich learning beyond the classroom and provide students with meaningful ways to grow and explore new interests.

Athletics

Leesburg also provides a variety of athletics opportunities for students in 3rd through 6th grade. These programs are designed to help younger students discover new interests, build teamwork skills and enjoy positive experiences outside the classroom.
