It’s that time of year again. The Warsaw FFA is selling a variety of delicious and healthy fruit along with a variety of cheeses and sausages. The fruit is shipped straight toWCHS by means of Blue Freedom Fresh Fruit Company, so freshness and quality are always guaranteed. It does not matter what kind of fruit customers like because FFA has everything from apples, pears, oranges, pineapples, and grapefruit along with sampler and cheese/sausage gift boxes in varying quantities.
The proceeds of the fundraiser will provide opportunities for FFA members to attend trips to Indianapolis, Indiana for the National FFA Convention, and West Lafayette, Indiana for the State FFA Convention. It will also provide for such FFA career and leadership development(CDEs/ LDEs) events such as crops evaluation, forestry evaluation, and entomology evaluation, welding, livestock skill-a-thon evaluation, parliamentary procedure, demonstrations, public speaking, community service projects, along with FFA Week Activities.
Fruit sales began on Wednesday, October 6th and will continue to Wednesday, November 17th. An FFA member will deliver the fruit to your door during the week of December 6th,just in time for Christmas. For additional information or to order fruit, contact any Warsaw FFA member or Warsaw Community HS Ag Dept. at (574) 371-5099 ext. 2353.

It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to a longtime member of our Washington Family. Mr. John DeWilde served as the Librarian here at Washington. He retired two years ago to spend more time with his wonderful wife, Jeanne. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. RIP Mr. DeWilde. Thank you for your many years of service and friendship. Always a Hornet 💚
