Now is a good time to get a head start on pledges for Serve-A-Thon. This is one of the biggest fundraisers we do each year. Your child can get pledges to help family and friends outside of school or a pledge for the service they will do on our day of serving.
The information came home on Friday with details on prizes for helping raise funds for our school activities! Check those bookbags.

This week some of our Lions experienced a Paralympic event for the Blind & Low Vision running category. This demonstrated how the runners need to have full trust in their guide partner. What a great way to showcase synergy! 💙🦁❤️

🌊📚Our Lake in the Library from The Lilly Center was installed today. We have 4 local fish swimming around and making themselves at home: a Channel Catfish, a Perch, a Sunfish, & a Largemouth Bass. 🐟
We are already captivated by them and eager to learn about how to care for local lakes and streams when the Ed Team comes in November. A huge thank you to the Lilly Center at Grace College.

Hello all aspiring Lincoln volleyball players! Tomorrow, at Open House, you can sign up for volleyball tryouts with Mrs. Grossman and Mrs. Jacko. Physicals aren't required for tryouts but you must have them for practice. Practice will begin Friday, August 16th in the morning.
Looking forward to seeing our Lincoln Lions be leaders on the court! ❤️🦁💙
Last but not least, our new Head Secretary, Mrs. Christina Everett. If you have called the office within the last week or two, you might have been introduced. She is rocking her new position and we are thrilled to have her in the office!
Mrs. Everett: "I’m excited to be a part of an amazing staff that is all so sweet and welcoming! I can’t wait to get to meet all the kiddos and pour positivity into their day!"
Our saying is, "Once a Lion, Always a Lion!" and that rings true for our new Lead Professional, Brittney Lainez. She brings enthusiasm and patience to our team and can't wait to see what she achieves this school year!
Ms. Lainez: "Hello! My name is Brittney Lainez and I am thrilled to be taking a lead Paraprofessional role here at Lincoln this school year. I come from a background in preschool special education. I was a Lincoln Lion myself (both of my kids are as well) so that makes me all the more excited to connect with and serve the staff and students of this incredible school. I am looking forward to meeting all of my fellow Lions in the coming week!"
Our next addition to the Lincoln staff is Amanda Miller. She will be joining the 5th-grade teacher team! We can't wait to see her pour into her group of students and watch them grow as leaders.
Ms. Miller: "This will be my third year teaching! I am excited to meet and work alongside the amazing staff at Lincoln this year! I am also excited to create a space for all students to feel valued and have the opportunity to grow. "
Next on the lineup of new staff is Mrs. Holly Stanfill! She will be a great asset to the Lincoln team and can't wait to see what she has in store to support our teachers and students as our new Instructional Coach.
Mrs. Stanfill: "I am thrilled to be joining the Warsaw and Lincoln family in my (lucky) 13th year of teaching. My family recently moved from Elkhart and we are having a blast spending time on the waters of K county and getting to know the community. Joining the team at Lincoln feels like coming home. I have met so many wonderful people thus far and am excited to jump in with teachers to help students grow! I can't wait to get to meet all the Lions and join them in their learning journey."
