The Veteran's Day Program was held today at 1 pm on the Lakeview campus. Dr. Hoffert, Superintendent for Warsaw Community Schools greeted local veterans.
JROTC cadets performed Posting of the Colors and Retiring of the Colors.
Thanks to JoElla Hauselman, Edgewood Middle School Principal, for the welcome address.
Thank you Edgewood & Lakeview Middle School Bands for the "Star Spangled Banner," "This is My Country," "Stars and Stripes Forever" - led by Band Director Joseph Peloza.
Edgewood & Lakeview Middle School Orchestra performed "Our Heros" and " Yorktown" under the leadership of Angela Dieleman, Orchestra Director.
The guest speaker was Fred Josellis, Senior Army Instructor, Army JROTC, WCHS.
Edgewood & Lakeview Middle School choirs performed “All of One Heart,” “In Flanders Fields,” “Hymn to America,” & “Jerusalem” - led by Jennifer Cooksey, Choir Director.
Judy Becker asked veterans to stand and be recognized while the band played “Armed Forces Salute.”
Closing remarks were delivered by Todd Braddock, Lakeview Middle School principal.
The Advanced Band performed Taps.
